Hi guys,
i'm retrofitting kafas2 to enable sli, active cruise control etc (it's bmw i3).
All FSC according to esys are accepted but kafas2 haven't been coded to vehicle.
if i code it did i lose fsc status accepted?

Can I use function WDBI to write my VIN to kafas or something can happen with FSCs?

i'm trying to retrofit the kafas camera on my bmw f31 i already turned it on but when i read the ecu with esys i don't find kafas. the only different connection I made was to connect PT CAN to FEM A173 * 8B to pin 48 and 47.

Hey I’d recommend you follow the ISTA wiring diagram exactly. Did you buy a loom for KAFAS2 or make one? I used an F15 loom and the PTCAN were reversed. Look at the diagram, the PTCAN colours are switched.

Add all 3 FSC’s from a donor car and you can have SLI and 5AS.

I understand that, but you’re posting in a thread that explains how to load ANY FSC set from any donor car into any KAFAS2. So if you obtain a newer set of FSC codes you can load them into your KAFAS2 and enable all of the functions of your KAFAS2 camera.
