It is for diagnosis no problem. But it will be, when for flashing purposes a 2nd IP is needed (e.g. when flashing head units). In this case the flash will fail.

For these purposes you need a small router between computer, car and Icom. (Real Router =better) or software Router to provide via DHCP a 2nd IP for e.g. the head unit from the car.
