It depends of km value , If you have higher value on used dash and you correct SSID EZS will take that higher value from the dashboard to the ESZ . Thats why I always set dash to zero and preform adaption at drive authorization data so dash will set correct SSID and take km value from the EZS.
This is just my proposal , this is the way I do it and no need to open dashboard, so every body can chose its own way. The best regards. If I helped you press magic buttons

After replacement the car starts and runs, mileage is correct. There is a Pre Safe Error and a picture of a battery but no fault codes. Any thoughts? The hardware number on this cluster was different so maybe it wont work. I was going to try manual coding. This cluster was out of a newer car.
