Hello:
Today when executing PETKA I got the following error:
hardlock not found



I have tried to update it but the updates failed to install.


Any idea what could be wrong with it?

Some update about this.


I was getting this error since i changed one of the HDDs on my PC. 
It seems that the hardware configuration affects the HWID and Etka stops working because the HWID changes.
After uninstalling, cleaning all registry keys and asking for a new activation key, it works. I'm updating it, I'll cross my fingers jejeje

I think, I resolved the problem with DB updates. I noticed the update log file in either data1 or data2 for given brand was very old, ex. upd14200.log. I deleted this file, and now all new updates install without any issues.

Hi all,
I have changed my computer's hard disk due to size issues. I cloned my existing disc, everything works fine apart from PETKA. I can open the program and select make, but when I try to go further I get "Hard lock not present"
From reading the above posts am I right in assuming I need to remove the program and re-install it?
If so is there any way I can save the data so I won't have to go through the updates procedure for about a year's updates?

You just have to delete the etkaconf.ini file and request a new activation code.

Even with proper folder permissions (full control for every user) it's still reporting the same problem. Every other company is working.

Have you tried to uninstall the Audi data and reintall it again afterwards? Probably there is some false configuration?
