XZBMW  Doubt with cluster change with 35128 chip and yanhua yh35xx programmer
hello everyone
I have to replace a black panel BMW F48 frame that has been melted. It has a 35128 chip. I have a Yanhua YH35xx programmer and the emulator chip. this chip has id and data and can be read independently by the programmer. In order to install the new cluster and not have the red dot appear, should I read the ID of the chip in the new box and the data of the chip in the old box? Or does it matter what ID I write?

If there is an id, then you need to transfer it from the old eeprom to the new one so that there is no red dot. Id has been around since 2015

RE: Doubt with cluster change with 35128 chip and yanhua yh35xx programmer
another question...

According to Yanhua, the chip can only be written once. If the customer needs to encode the instrument panel, does the chip support it?
