Hallo,

I need some help to transfer the immo from golf mk5 (24C32 eeprom) to a mk6 (24C64 eeprom) cluster.
My tool is original VVDI2 and I´m new in cluster swap.

What is the step, to bring immo from old cluster to a new (used) cluster with another eeprom size?

Could someone please help me?
It would be nice, to get some help.

Hallo,

I got a problem with the transfer from old 24c32 immo data to new cluster with 24c64.

With VVDI2 i read the data from both clusters, old one is 6th byte cs key and new one
is 7th byte cs key.

1. Problem: How can I enter CS from old to new one?
When I enter the 6th cs key in new cluster, I got an error when I save the immo, when I fill the rest space from cs key with FFFFF..., than I could save it to immo but I don`t know if it`s right or wrong.

2. Problem: How to edit the Powerclass?
Do I have to edit the Powerclass with the two letters from old cluster in the area from new cluster?

When I save immo data, I only got a file with 165byte and I think, it should be a file with 1kbyte.
What should be the problem?

check it vvdi if the 7th byte in the engine ecu is XX
the power class is edit in status...4th byte

Descrive how are yuo reading the immo data in the 24c64 cluster or post a foto of the vvdi2 it the immo data!
What is the part number in the 24c64 cluster?

1. read eeprom with programmer on bench
2. delete range 0x13A0 - 0x1450 in hex editor with FF FF
3. write back to cluster with programmer
4. write orig. eeprom to cluster to enter service mode with obd
5. read immo data
6. save file (immo data file is only 165bytes)

I think it should be 1kbyte file size (full immo data size)

Part number is 1T0920885 from Touran.

Anyone could try to read full immo and tell me, what could the problem to me,

with original VVDI2?
That's a great problem for me.
Every youtube video i saw, there was a 1kbyte immo
data and i only got a 165byte data file.
I bought original VVDI2 to get no trouble
with immo data and now i don't understand what
happens!

The only problem is you not doing what i wrote in the above posts

Post a foto off immo data readings and the immo data file if you want any more help from me!
I done this tipe off cluster retrofit it VVDI2 dozens off times...
So VVDI2 is not the problem...You are!
