Guys

i managed to connect to car but when i select check_fsc or get_* i got:

Error when executing Job "CheckFsc": [10802]

I tried with win 7 64 and 32. Tool32 and ncsexpert are working ok. interface is Inpa cable.
Car: E84/2011 - CIC date 06/10

Can we use Dr.Gini and Icom to find out the code from 1b?

I just use SW ID reader for getting the 1B file, and that works with both ICOM or K+Dcan to usb cable, and then CIC FSC code generator for generating the code needed for maps.

I've the same error. I've tried with ICOM and with Dcan. Fstool work good because other jobs don't give errors. I think our beginning situation is different from who tells us the right procedure. We are missing something.

So..i managed to get it work yesterday.

mistakes made:
1. replaced jre 1.8 with 1.4.2_x
2. get the attached installation kit as it comes from BMW
3. RTFM before twice

the easiest way is to use the swid- reader.
