Hi all,

I received my new FSC set whitch is contains fsc for 9c. I changed the VIN to the FSC's VIN and I stored the 9C fsc-s. After it 9C is okay, BMW apps are working. But the other FSCs (17,19,1b,28) are rejected. I also imported the new FSCs, but it still NOK. The Certs are allowed except SIG Cert.
Whats wrong?

Q1: Have you clean-up your FSC code in the CIC before upload the new pack?

- Date for new FSC must be greater than in the CIC. The best way is to remove all FSC in the CIC.

- Explanation: FSC code is part of the key in the encryption code chain. For BMW CIC, they use offline sign certificate (06) to make sure you provide the right key to enable their application. In the simple way, you must have all 3 certificate available and accepted by the CIC i.e. root cert, sign cert and fsc cert. For more explanation read the SSL encryption key.

- For your case: once you change the vin, the sign certificate will be automatically marked as invalid by the system. (internal checking of security). You must clean-up your CIC, reinstall your sign certificate first before install all FSC code.

I didn't cleaned up my previous FSC codes How can I clean my CIC?

I have no sign certificate. The sign certificate witch comes with FSTOOL is good for me?

Currently I have only a D-Can cable. I think, it is not possible to make FTP connection with it. I ordered a DUB-E100 (gray). Will it be good for me to make ftp connection?
