Hello,

I would like to know whether it is easier to correct the mileage on the odometer or the bsi on the above vehicle with siemens bsi.

I have replaced the ecu/bsi/odometer and the mileage is lower than I would like .

Thus I understand I only have to change one and the other will increase to the higher miles.

I would like to do this myself if this is possible with a very small budget?

Any advise welcomed.

It is much easier to remove and increase milleage in dash. And its enough for this car for showing higher milleage.

a simple eeprom programmer and a calculator is enough. digiprog i think is ok for that job. but there are cheaper programmers that can do that job.
