there is another thread for this error: it seems be related to license expired in ETKA...could be some solutions...

I ran into the same problem. Here is how I fixed it.

Download and extract these dll files: http://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.ph...#pid129965

Copy EtBrowser.dll and EtData.dll to ETKA\prog1 and ETKA\prog2

These files already exist there so you can either overwrite them, or move the 2 existing files into another folder (if you want to back them up) and copy the new ones into both directories.

I was then able to start and update ETKA.

RE: VAG ETKA International 7.5 (09.2015-Multilanguage) VMWare
Well, I tryed my best but it's a no go.

I tryed loading the VM with both VM Ware Player and VM Ware PRO but unfortunately I get stuck on this on both:

This happens everytime I load ETKA but sometimes takes some time to trigger. I can't explain this shit, I've seen that this DLL has something to do with the Sentinel SDK but whatever.

I already stopped/started the emulator several times, performed thousands of installations from the Hard Lock driver but I keep stuck at the exact same place with the exact error message.

Any ideas, PLEASE?

RE: VAG ETKA International 7.5 (09.2015-Multilanguage) VMWare
Just to add that I have exactly the same BSOD problem as Vbart. Only in my case re-starting the VM once or twice usually does the trick and Etka then starts up and works well. It also sometimes happens after closing Etka, or when closing the VM. On another day all works well.
Am using Windows 10 64-bits as host.

I tried running the program on my laptop with Windows 10, same BSOD problem.

A friend of mine installed the program on his PC and it works fine. His PC is brandnew, whereas mine (PC and laptop) is from 2009. Suspect that there may be some hardware or BIOS or driver conflict - would love to be able to sort it out.....

Thanks for any suggestion.

OK, I spent almost two days straight on this but I finally did it. Not sure if coincidence but my hardware is also from 2009, one of those ASUS motherboards with everything onboard, whatever.

Anyway, the f33nix setup simply didn't make it. I had to look for another setup and came up around this:

http://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=11142

On this thread you will find the files to begin a clean installation of ETKA 7.5 and then proceed with the installation which is completely fucked up because several menus/options are screwed among the process. I just kept clicking on Next, Next, Next, so that the file copy began.

So, to make things clear. Stick with f33nix virtual machine of Windows 7 you already have, just UNRAR it again from the original package so that you can get a 100% fresh version. Erase the ETKA directory from there BUT FIRST SAVE the hldrv32.exe file, the emulator.exe file and the ETKA Online-Update.exe file. These files are not present on the files from the thread I pointed you.

Now, back to f33nix VM, begin a brand new setup of ETKA using the ETK7.5_v2016.exe from the package I pointed by following its thread instructions. Once it's concluded, it will complain that the hardlock is not present so you run the hldr32.exe you had saved. Try running it again, here it worked at first without crashes but if it refuses again try loading the emulator.exe.

That's the best I can point you by now, ETKA running smooth for hours with no crashes at all.

Thank you Vbart for your extensive reply!
I have meanwhile installed the carfreak version as pointed to by you and all works fine after installing it on a freshly created Windows 10 32-bits VM. (Rather than sticking with the f33nix VM).
Thanks again.

RE: VAG ETKA International 7.5 (09.2015-Multilanguage) VMWare
This has been running fine since I installed it.

I opened it up today and it hangs on the 1119 update with the Upgrade to 7.5 PLUS box. It originally hung after installing 1116.

I moved the updates to temp folders and added them one at a time until 1119 hung. I haven't found a way past it. I set the VM date back to various dates as far back as March which made no difference.

Attached is a pic of what it looks like when it hangs.

Anyone have any ideas on how to get past this?

Is there anyway to verify that you already have 7.5+ installed?

Thanks in advance.
