If this works for most people, then it must be something simple, right?

For those that have it working, did you just install to the default path, "c:\Program Files (x86)\Rheingold"? (Or jut Program Files for 32bit).

At the end of the install, there is an option to run Rheingold, mine fails with the wrong path. Do others get that?

I have beemerboys most recent standalone working just fine. Are there any other "prerequisites" that are required?

Just trying to narrow down what might be an issue for those of us for whom this doesn't work.

Innosetup installer creates shortcuts with wrong path:

Same error message for me as well.

"Please make sure your ISTA configuration is valid.
In doubt reset any non standard ISTA configuration and reinstall ISTA."

Clean virtual machine, Windows 7 32bit, 4GB RAM, latest 4.6 .NET installed, SQLite files copied, all files unblocked.

Previous standalone version works fine on the same config.

Does it work only on 64bit system?

Don't work here Win10 x64.
Could you please zip Reinghold folder instead of packaging with InnoSetup ?

what error are you getting? Worked for me ok on win10 x64.

I've solved my problem. My Avast antivirus was the fault.
Installation is now fine

Install Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable.

Thanks beemerboy88,after installed it,ISTA is ok now.but

1.left top corner is "ISTA+",not "Rheingold".
2.Version-Rheingold-Data-"R--".

Maybe they don't effect ISTA normal function,I think.

Got same error, even after run (regcleaner) and installing Microsoft Visual C++ 2013

Problem solved running as administrator worked fine
