For Honda it does in windows xp and probably 32 bit operating systems. In x64 you need a registry hack and manual installation, windows 10 x64 works too. The latest original as I know is with firmware 1.4.8. The one above looks to be original, i.e same as mine.

I use Honda j2534 passthru utility to upgrade my ECU modules. Testing the programing key function it worked though I did not carry one since I don't have a spare key. I tested calibrating the steering wheel and the removing the Air from the AWD (air bleeding) as well as checking for module errors.

I have a Honda CR-V 4th Generation 2013-2014 model and it does everything.

HDS software in my case sees it as X-HORSE device. I have a special registry hack which recognizes my device as X-horse. Thus NOT HIM NOR GNA600. I dont know what happens with a 32 bit windows since I only tested my registry hack with 64 bit windows (7, 8, 8.1 10) only. If I would guess in 32 bit windows I would choose GNA600, however with this choice you have to choose USA market only, I think otherwise this is not possible in European market since GNA600 is not an option. My reg hack works for European Market too. I hope this was not a trick/test question!.

The reason why i'm asking cause i tried HDS with j2534(http://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=7515) device and HDS only allowed me to connect to 2 modules ECU and TCU but not an airbags or any other module....
that's why i'm asking about it, is it worth buying it or buy HIM/HID device ???

Mine works with all modules. Do you have the original X-horse 3 in 1 cable??? Mine looks exactly like the cable in the previous post by BMWF01 . If your cable can work fine in windows xp 32bit it must be a problem with your driver installation. Otherwise you dont have the original X-horse 3 in 1 hardware. Try installing HDS, then run the .exe hack then install driver 1.4.8.

Do you have the 32 bit or the 64 bit?? My X-horse is better than HIM and much faster and does everything though for ECU module updates I use the HONDA J2534 passthru utility because I was not able to update the modules otherwise. This is the only shortcoming, which as I said there is a workaround with the HONDA J2534 passthru utility (latest database for the 5 module updates is April 2016).

I am happy with X-horse though I have spent few days to make it work 100% with both HDS diagnostic and module updates.For me this is as good as a professional tool. However if you have a 64 bit operating system then you will have a problem or if you live in Europe, you have to choose USA version as X-horse can work if recognized as GNA600.

The European Version does not work with X-horse only with HIM unless you can reprogram X-horse driver, which is difficult unless you are lucky enough to make X-horse recognized as a new entity.

I dont have a problem with X-horse since I was one of the lucky people who have made X-horse work with x64 bit. I am not allowed to publish this driver since Chinese X-horse manufacturers did not make the 1.4.8 firmware available to me when I asked it from them thus I am returning the favor with the same hospitality. As a penalty they will have to pay for their mistake in order to get the driver.

X-horse 3 in 1 original hardware, is not the best due to non existing support. However with proper support, this hardware is worth much more than what is currently selling.

The exe hack is the HIMGNA.exe found in GNA-HIM-PRO-TizWaz folder. When you download the latest HDS from this forum you will find it there (v3.12.30.0). http://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=13416
