E39 DDE4 swap options
Hi,
I have 530d 140kw that has been converted to manual gearbox. I would like to know what is best option to swap DDE from manual gearbox car to current EWS so I can leave old keys and ignition. 1. Virginise manual gearbox DDE4 on eeprom 5P083C = ST95P08? Can ISTA D make synhronisation if ecu is virginised? 2.Flash old AUTO gearbox ecu with WINKPF with file from one of manual gearbox files.. How stable and reliable is that flashing proces, did flash of other modules in past but newer engine ECU... 3. Swap ST95P08 eeprom from auto gearbox ecu to manual gearbox ecu? Dont know if this is really possible ... |

Change ZCS to match car actual configuration, recode IKE or KOMBI + DSC.
DDE4.0 is not recodeable at all. You don't need to reflash DDE to match manual version zusb unless you just want to have proper number
