You can change language on all versions (press F1) and change language

Yes, language change for DiagBox v7.74+ can be performed through editing few files (currently) as per Maitresox document. Please refer to the link in my first post.
The language codes for German are: 5Chr$= de_DE and 2Chr$=de or AL

Language change through the Drop Down Menu or pressing F1 work for DiagBox 7.01-7.72.

I had problems with installing this update
As you described in the first post.
Tried to put it on desktop and also from c: as you described.

But in the end I needed to run it as Admin.

Just thought I would mention it if others are having the same problem as I had.

Did the updates on my diagbox from theses links and as soon as I got to 7.66 as soon as I start the program I get an error message saying an error has occurred restart the diagnostic tool and try again.... Now I cant get it to work at all. I get to that screen and thats as far as it goes...

Can you give more details about you platform, are using VM, which Windows you are using, Do you have .NET, Java and VC++ 20xx installed and which versions.

I had issues on some installations when using Maitresox 7.xx-7.57, but not with Scarymistake. There is 100mb size difference when compressed, but the same size after extraction.

Running on an oldish Packard bell laptop windows xp sp3 couldn't tell you about java number, I know it has it but dunno the number, .net I think is up to date as did updates on it before I installed diagbox and it never goes on internet as it is a separate laptop I especially use for fault code readers, and it was working fine when I had scary's updates installed ( the last update scary did from the thread on here cant remember the number), but saw these updates and thought I would do a clean install and do these updates, did the clean install and it worked fine did xx to .57 (maitresox) that worked fine as did .57 to .58 (maitresox) and the .58 to .62 (maitresox) worked then when I did the update to .66(maitresox) it came up with the message an error has occurred restart the diagnostic tool and try again on the very first screen and that's where I am now.

After uninstalling diagbox, avoid problems to reinstall:
delete regedit entries diagbox and actia
Search and delete actia folders in documents and settings
delete c: folders left by diagbox
i also stop+disable firebird and actia splitter service and delete ft ... files by fabulatech in system32 folder (dont delete ftdi ... files if present)
