Hi everyone,
three weeks ago I bought a chip from Racechip: The ultimate version that ensures that the car will get +50 HP and +72 N/m. So I decided take my car to a dynamometer service to determine if the car was gaining all the power that was promised using the chip.
I ensured that my car was in optimum conditions, using ISTA: There were not faults, my car was all OK.
Then I went to the workshop to measure the car in stock conditions and with the chip: The result was so dreadful, bad, poor, I'm really disappointed with the results. My car just gained 6 HP: I decided to return the chip and get my money back. My recomendation Dont waste your money in this...

OK, thats the half of story.
I'm now thinking to understand and to learn about chip tuning.

I have many questions:
Which is the best tool to read a mini cooper Ecu. My car has: Bosch MEVD 1727 Engine N18 It could be read by the OBD port? or it has to be disassembled?
