I'm looking at a site via alibaba, which I've used many times before, will let you know, but the quality of the pcbs are good, like the old originl stuff... Can chokes, right chips, propper lattice chips... Good lcd pcb... About £380 inc cables, add to that import taxes will bump it up a bit...
Lottery the Chinese clones, but they ard replying well to email, so will keep you posted, as my trusty c3 mux works... But it's time to get a c4 connect Learning is good, SHARING is BETTER

Aliexpress SDConnect C4 lasted 3 months. It broke and wouldn't boot fully, 'device is booting'. Then it got 'repaired' back in China over 6 weeks process, and worked only 1 day.
I asked for a refund. They agreed. I shipped it back, got confirmation that they received it, even have pictures... and 2 months later, no more communication and still no refund. Filthy thieves. |

I used Alipay (as it's the only real thing you can use).
Then the dispute period expired after 30 days or so. So refunds/exchanges are all up to the honesty of the crook on the other side. I will try to get Aliexpress involved, but at this moment (after 3++ months) there's not much that can be done. I have his name, number, and address, anyone in Guangdong area? I will get screenshots of our communication, if anyone is interested... |
