If I install das xentry on my laptop can I use any obdii cable like elm327 or I shoud only buy a star compact c3 or c4 (multiplexer) ?

Hi elm327 won't work, cheapest solution is China clone C3/C4, hope it helps.

Ive used this company a few times. Been reliable and good back up. Had 2 c3 systems off them. Put the hdd in a dell d620/30 and your away! http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/...48109.html

Does the C3 system work with the newer models? Or do I need to get C4 or C5?
I have 07, 13, and 14 Benz cars.

If you have one of newest version SD system installed C3 will not work with cars under Xentry software. Is needed SD Connect good quality. C5 clone is with C4 pcb inside a maybe low quality.
