I have Installed Odis E full working on Win 10 64bit

Then i tried to install new Odis S 3.0.0 PS 8.0.160. This installation work without Problems. But my VAS5054A dont worke in Odis S . No Serial Number and no VCI-ID

What do i wrong?
Please Help.

I have uninstalled all Odis Versions.

Why worke VAS5054A then with Odis Engeneering on same Laptop with Win 10 64 bit?
Is Odis E compatible and Odis S not?

My problem on Win 10 is that the Edic_D_PDC_API_1_20_013 is installed and worke fine with Odis_E 5.0.12.

Odis S 3.0.0 needs D_PDC_API_1_20_34 or 1.20.23 but i cannot install this API´S

in Folder Odis-Diag-Modules no VEN-Softing Folder

in later version it moved to program files (x86)/softing or at least on mine it has

also , not install with 3 untill do postsetup

when you uninstalled odis , how did you do it .....

i had odis s 2.2.7 and 5.0.14 installed , first must unistall all, and delete all traces from computer, then start again ...

first oids s 3.0.1 (035) and then odis e 6.6.1 (034)

   
   

Whole thing installed comparability mode for windows 7 and as admin , system is win 8.1 64bit

I Tested Odis install on Netbook Windows 7 32 bit, and the same Problem, my VAS5054 dont works.
I have long time Ago Odis 1.2.0 tried to install....
I think i must clear system from Odis .
How can i do this?

When i install new API in device Manager the new versin not exists, only the API 1.20.034 which comes with the Odis 3.0.0 setup

Uninstall ok, but then? The Odis folder on "C" i deleted. Must i clean registry?

In Odis 3.0.0 i cannot choose 5450 only VAS6365, 6558, 6558A

""""""""""Since i have seen that you have problems with fw upgrade and install that, uninstall that ..... and so on i have made a pack with DRIVERS VAS5054 for X86 and x64 and with D-PDU API versions 1.20.20 extracted from ODIS 2.2.2 and 1.20.23 extracted from ODIS 2.2.3. Also inside you will see a log with firmware updated on these levels on VAS to compare with yours.

Like this you don't have to install and clean windows and so on. Monitor with a program only one installation so that when you are done with it you can clean that and install the other.
Thanks to MrWolf that explained the procedure in an early post, here it is in detail

1. Connect VAS5054A to USB port and install Drivers
2. Install D-PDU API
3. Open Softing D-PDUAPI Test Application
4. Select PDU-API Version - here choose your installed version
5. Push Parse MDF File button
6. On Select MVCI Module - now if all OK you should see your VAS
7. Push PDUModuleConnect button
8. Look at your VAS head and you should see it blinking.
9. Wait for 30 sec or so and at the end if all OK you should have these lines:

For wines 7: Windows startup liwsty PRESS F8 and select Disable Driver Signing, not wylanczaj computer! plug the VAS 5054A to the OBD socket and connect the USB cable to the computer, after a short time turn on the ODIS & test?

Hi..
Maybe odis old version 2.0.0 or 2.0.1 ..good working.
But odis latest version not working..
My thinking is vas5054a qulity problem.
I bought new good qulity vas5054a. And good working...
VAS5054A chip is different.
I have never experienced such symptoms.
