Xentry 2013/3 C3 PartD cannot connect to car
Greetings
I have a problem with my Star diagnosis system. I cannot connect to car. When i first got the system I could diagnose with xentry/das car couple minutes, but then it disconnected and showed this error: Now I can't connect to car at all. It shows same error message as before. I'm trying to get the system back working but there are some odd things. My SDnetControl looks like this but I have a PartD (clone) mux that connects with serial port, not wireless sdconnect like in the icon: When I connect my mux it shows in Select MUX list as accessible, but I can't select it because selection is greyed out. If I disconnect mux from laptop it disappears from the list.: Is the system trying to connect with wrong type mux that I don't have? What should I do? Serial port settings should be correct. |

Check the cal.ini if the Part-D2 is used, if the setting is correct, there won't be 02 but a "D" instead, please check.

In my F:\Programme\DAS\bin cal.ini reads "PLATFORM=PART_D2"
In my C:\USERDATA\config\HHTWin hhtwin.ini reads "SLAVE=PARTD2" |

I made complete reinstall with loki954's image. Yet again the error remains the same. It seems that either my mux or laptop->mux cable converter could be broken. Any suggestions?

Yes it is set to COM2. Other settings checked also. From BIOS I have tested both COM1 and COM2. I read from somewhere that with dell 630 BIOS setting should be COM1 and in control panel COM2.

I believe that in HHTwin it should state as SLAVE=PARTD2 or PARTT2. In cal.ini states PART_D2 or PART_T2. |

Try to use a other mux if possible then you know if the mux is the problem
how long do you have the mux ? what kind of laptop you use |
