Mercedes s500 w220 ezs problem
Can anyone help ?
Mercedes W220, EZS after approximately 10 min loses communication with Star Diagnosis, but the engine can be started. After removing the second UPC 1d69j can not be read, when you insert the key rotates but the starter does not turn. I have a second EZS, you can restore the 2 UPC on the basis of the first to encode Star?
Car is s500 W220 99y. EZS 2155450008

RE: Mercedes s500 w220 ezs problem
Unfortunately these are the worst MCU to work with. Many people say that you can copy one MCU to the other and they will fix themselves, but it has never worked for me after countless attempts. I have best results reading these MCU with AK500. Sometimes warming-up the MCU helps, but in some cases it cannot be read by a programmer no matter what. In the reality this doesnt mean that the MCU is not working properly. In some cases i was not able to read MCU1, I remove MCU2, read, make keys and the EIS works just fine. Your best bet would be to replace the EIS, but you may have a hard time to sync the shifter module ESM.

Well, basically I know, heat system, cooled. I have a second EZS and there was no problem with it reading. A bit like I had with HC11E9 ECU, scared to read only the third programmer. I already know how to clear the ESM but did not want to dismantle it. I hope that personalization can be completed properly. I do not know whether the ECU and the EZS is VIN.

I read them 100% with orange5 and xprog box original...never issue

they are secured so if you read wrong they will erase key data

I did not want unnecessary work with the dismantling of the ESM. Also I have several programmers, ETL, UPA, Orange Xprog but I have not yet. But I'll have to remove the ESM.
