Hi All,

After messing about for many hours, I've finally managed to install PA Soft BMW Scanner 1.4x on my 64bit windows 7 laptop.

I've modified the driver set that I used so that it now installs as the BMW Scanner.

So to install, Download and unzip.

Open device manager

Insert BMWScanner into usb port

Then look at the USB controllers section and see the USB controller interface with the warning trangle.

Select and then update driver, use the find on my machine and select the choose from installed drivers list.

Select the USB controllers and "have disk" option and point to the unzipped dir, select and press ok, it will say that the driver is not digitally signed, but ignore and press OK.

This will install the BMW Scanner controller, this is all you need for the scanner to start working, however it will also install the USB com port setup.

To install the com port setup, again use the update driver and then point to the install dir and click ok, (not the have disk section) again it will say that the driver is not digitally signed, but ignore and press OK.

This will install the com port setup.

Your BMW scanner should now be working.

Or just engription link. Please look into mega server link save option.

Is it possible to get drivers for Win10?

The drivers should work for any 32bit and 64bit bit version of win7, 8 and 10.

With the above drivers, I'm running bmwscanner 1.4 (1409) with win 7 Ultimate 64bit.

Yes it will work with Windows 8 and 10.

BUT

You must disable Driver Signature Verification temporarily to be able to install it.
