Problems reading E series ISTA+
Hello, Greetings to all Members
 We have problems reading older E series cars with round socket. We can't access the car, no car recognition, nothing  . We have ICOM A2 firmware 140 and ISTA + v. 3.54.12 (from 02.2016). The system works perfect with newer cars using 16pin OBD socket, E series and F series. We are wondering if other members have the same problem. Is it the latest ISTA software issue  ? Before we had no problems like this with the older ISTA software. Please comment on the above. Cheers

Try this one put 7 last characters of vin manually then start diagnose Best Regards |

Yes, I have seen this too.
Manual identification with VIN seems to work instead. |

Hi, thanks for the informtion. I did exactly this immeduiately after ISTA did not recognized E46. It started the test, but then after a long time stopped.... Then I used my old GT1 system on that car and all went OK. So, it was not car issue. Any more ideas, plz.
