Hi just become the new owner of a laurin and klemit Octavia mk 2 1.9 tdi, 105 bhp 2006 uk car, and loving the spec of this car, a few more gadgets than my golf

whilst I'm new to owning a Octavia,its not too unfamiliar to me as I also own and drive at the moment a mk5 golf gttdi 140 bkd
same chassis ect I believe

whilst I'm on starting to repair my cat d Octavia ive just purchaced (very light front bump, only panel damage)

, I'm needing to read my ecu with mpps 13.02
ive used this tool to read and write on my mk5 golf before without issue

I just need a little advice on which ecu I should be selecting to read in mpps for the octavia

ive pretty much tried to read all options for the 1.9tdi
the edc16u1 options closes after a matter of seconds
ive also tried to read with the edc15 1.9tdi, this gets a message regarding pulling fuse 11
which fuse is this please and its location?
also after pulling fuse 11 once I know where it is lol
will it also need to be left out to write a map back to the car
hope someone can shed some light on this for me

Hi mate..go to this post http://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=646 update your tool and try with edc16xxx you dont have edc15

Is it ok that my tool is 13.02?
as everthing in the thread pretty much refers to v12

Ok here you can easy update your tool..this is not my work,I cant remamber where I download it but work ok
