PPeugeot  Comm 2000 permanent fault
Hi,
I have a problem with Peugeot 307cc 2.0 petrol 2005. Car won't start.
I found a few permanent trouble codes in bsi:
Communication with the column height ECU
Locking control in controlled mode
Communication with the airbag ECU
Communication with the engine wiring housing

Tried to connect to comm2000 but got communication error message.
Once i turn the ignition on headlights and wipers turns on.
I've checked all fuses but they are ok. I tried to reset bsi but no luck. I had one comm2000 unit here so replaced it but it didn't help. Finally got another bsi with the same numbers and copied st95160 from the old one to the new one but still no luck.
Bsi parameters says ECM locked. Tried to code a key but it is impossible due to comm2000 fault.
Can i ask you guys for comm2000 and bsi wiring diagrams? I need to check the wiring between bsi and comm2000.
Thanks

Hi!
Look in Automotive Software Forum.
You are looking for Sedre - in PSA room.
All wiring diagrams in software wink

By the way did you use PP2000 / Diagbox for testing ?

RE: Comm 2000 permanent fault
Hi. I've installed Sedre and Peugeot Service Box. Checked all cables coming to comm2000 and everything seems to be fine. I've just received lexia 3 a few mins ago so i'll run the global test using a pp2000 and see what faults it shows.

" copied st95160 from the old one to the new one but still no luck. "

It is impossible in this way to clone BSI - part of the data is stored in the processor, as I want to exchange BSI do it on the Virgin and add to the car using diagbox or pp2000.

What are your parameters with code lock ignition BSI and ECU ?

thankyou If my post was helpful, please take the time to click THANKS and REP. button thankyou

RE: Comm 2000 permanent fault
After playing with CarProg and PP2000 i realized i did something wrong. As you said "part of the data is stored in the processor".
I sorted it out using a virgin file.

RE: Comm 2000 permanent fault
Restore everything including the ori data to BSi. To check COMM2000 after the fuse was checked fine, the 4 wires on grey plug, two are GND and V+batt another two are internal comm line (VAN car1) to BSI. Pins in the grey plug moving back is also a common cause!

loop an ignition current somewhere and join the two V+batt wire on the grey plug on com2000 moto will start key light will off
