Did you clear errors in ISTA? Las time I flashed GTS firmware I had to clear all the errors before the car was ok to drive.

of course, before putting it to sleep

Anyone tried just changing swfl newer than btld?
I mean, bootloader is older version, and swfl is newer.
I’ve always done btld and swfl change but swfl change only would take less time.

Depends of current car istep. Target calculation will show you that.
When it is too old you need to upgrade the btld too.
When car has newer istep in my experience swfl is enough.
But go with what Target calculation tells you.
I think it fails anyway if you don't do btld when it is required.
Don't mess with this. Last thing you want is to have to buy a new egs ecu for an ///M

But what ecu’s are flasheable with the gts software because most people only talk about the transmission but i heard it changes the diff so shifting but also you electronics and steering??

Only EGS is flashable. Eps, Ghas, Dsc, Edc(CS or ZCP) is just coding.
