Hi, a customer has supplied us with a used DSC ECU for his 2002 E53. We are having problems recoding it, BMW Scanner 1.4 only has the option to read/write zcs and doesn't display a chassis number. NCS expert reports coding data faulty.
Progman 32, early ZCS coding (E32 method) reports a problem with the unit having coding index 14.
Has anyone managed to successfully recode one of these?

I appreciate anyones help on this.

Default coding way always worked for me
1.4 tool wrong tool
Unless its defective used module(in that case I always charged for time spend installing and coding... Again and again and again.. Until I was provided new or undefective module)
Index 14 mostly been encounter by me when either wrong Lcm or GM are installed or both on car

Now have chassis number of donor vehicle, confirm incorrect unit.
