E87 130i retrofitted cruise control not working
I've never experienced this before but here it is I've retrofitted cruise control in a 130i 2006 E87. I've replaced the switch unit steering column and wrote $540 to cas and frm.
First I've coded dsc and kombi to default and after that I've calibrated the steering angle sensor. Everything was successful but when turning the steering wheel it gives an error with in the kombi with the logo of the cruise control  I've code the whole car to default and calibrated the steering angle sensor again and still the same error when driving and activate the cruise control. I see that there is a puma case 28753830 and rep-61 31 009. Does anybody has it or know how to search on dealerspeed? I can't find it. Anybody got any idea why it isn't working? Hi.
Time ago, I retrofitting a 2006 E87 the same and make changes automatically with ISTA-P automatically without using INPA tools.  Choose the tab Retrofit  within ISTA-P life is not complicated.You can even use a module SZL reconditioned that worked well.  you need also coding DME.  using INPA toolsRegards. |

Ista-p doesn't give me the option to retrofit cruise control.

Did you use correct steering column switch?
For 6cyl its different then 4 cyl. Also ACC have different Check fault codes |

Yes I installed the correct one. I double checked it and realoem says it fits an E87 with 6 cylinder engine.
It says something about the cluster. It is missing a signal. MGU virgin and patching in Europa.

544 was never an option for the E87. The handles I've used matches an E87 with 6 cylinder engine and it gives 540.

There is some clusters that not support cruise, i have seen one wrong type (installed manymany cruises) and there is no other way, only change cluster to different. vdo high have always parameters but some basics not.
