Hi all
I have a bmw f800gs had a small accident
And need to change the dashboard
I have bought a used one
But the abs light on and esa
Can motorscan adapt to the bike ?
Can it be done by copying the 35080 on
The original to the used one ?
The original one i managed to make it
Run but without the temp and fuel and shift
Gauge appear on the screen
Any solution ?

Yust swap 35080 eeprom.. you dont need to copy it becouse you need new one or 35080 eraser first if you want write a new data..

and also i have changed some data and trying it i have reached to make the gearshift
appear with no fault on the dash when i plug it but still missing the fuel and the temp gauge

hello i guess the original file dump downloaded twice
i will post the original second dash dump
the original is the missing gauge
the raf3 is the file that i made i had to make the gearshift appear

Hi all again
I have tried read and write on the original
35080 with miniprog i was ok i tried more
Than 50times it was ok
And i bring new 35080 6 pcs and tried to
Write on them always error
I tried with original upa s original
It shows that write success and when i read
It it shows 00000000000 in all lines
I tried with xprog m clone read always 00000000000000
Try to write alwYs error adress and buffer
Tried to erase i waited 10 mn but no erase
Can upa orig read write and erase 35080 ?
All your replies will be much thankfull

It sounds like you may know this already but just to be sure ... This chip is a non standard pinout configuration eeprom . That simply means it hooks up the wires in a different way than most eeproms . Hopefully this is what your problem is .

By swaping eeprom I mean solder old eep from old dash to new dash and your yob will be done...good luck

Hi all thanks for your reply
In the begining i did replace the old eeprom
To the new dash i had the same problem
Missing fuel and temp and gear shift on the
Lcd pannel
If you compare between the files that i upload
Orig and second dash and raf 3 you will see
What i mean
On raf 3 i managed to make the gear shift
Appear and work
So the problem is in the 35080 data

Hi all
I can read thee eeprom from both original
And 2 hand used dashboard
And on line 2a0 ihave in the original dash
3c 12 2a 04 00 fa 04 in the file raf3
I changed the fa 04 to 92 6c from the
2 dash i have the gear shift appear
And when i change the 3c122a04 to b3 fb 45 0d
The missing gauge appear but with abs fault
And mil blinks
Is there any checksum calculation ?
Can any one advise or help ?

Or if any one can show me where the fuel
And temp gauge data in the file
Because the 3c 12 2a 04 is the abs data
