RE: Read 080D0WQ failed with R270
After 20x remove eeprom and put in IC-Socket, the eepom is broken.
I had read that all eeproms M35080 series are compatible? In the dash was before desolder a 080D0WQ-971776. Can i use any type of M35080 ? Which one is write protected and which one not? Where can i buy some EEPROM? If my post helped you hit the thanks and reputation button.

Yes it is same family so will work..and by the way try rework your adaptor properly and put smd rezistor instead of 20cm wire + rezistor...I think your problem is in adaptor..

Which one is best and easyest to erase/rewrite? M35080 6, M35080 3, 080D0WQ? Is it correct, that i replace the R11 resistor (original 3,6kΩ) by a 1kΩ resistor? Other rework on the pcb is needed? RE: Read 080D0WQ failed with R270
You can't swap 35080 V3 and V6.
All is easy to read/write with quality tool. Read datasheet for each and find all what you need to know about this eeprom |

(sorry but only normal resistors, no smd) If my post helped you hit the thanks and reputation button.
