Need a little knowledge on Bmw key programing
I saw alot of hardware on youtube and websites for programing BMW keys.from software avdi,obd programers and even small base unit programers and key cutting machines etc....im wondering if anyone has actually used any on this site to make a new key for thier bmw...is it possible to purchase the hardware on my own instaed of having the stealership do it??..i would love you feedback thank you so much!!

Just get dealer to do if you do not know what you are doing you will corrupt dash ecu etc and vehicle will not start read this every day people playing with bmw tools and also latest bmw lots of faults with steering res and ews and cas if you are prepared to mess up with your car or friend buy tool otherwise go to dealer or local locksmithand last tools from 600 euros to well over 3000 euros .

What godfathertre said. Better off to get someone that already has the tools and knowledge to do it for you. If it's the dealer, well it may be cheaper in the long run.
If someone took the time to help you, the least you can do is take a few seconds and press two buttons!
