RE: Yamaha R6 RJ09 Odometer
Nope, your programmer is biggrin Try selecting the device in xprog as a fairchild eeprom, and make sure to select read as 16 bit.

Or try a different programmer. To read/write that chip with most programmers all that is required is 5 pins.

Disclaimer: I do not own xprog, just what I have read. smile

If someone took the time to help you, the least you can do is take a few seconds and press two buttons!

RE: Yamaha R6 RJ09 Odometer
Step 1 rework your cable to the correct wire colors according to the picture here.

You can use that PDF I posted, but refer to the numbers only, NOT the colors. And you only need Pins 1,2,3,4,5 & 8.

RE: Yamaha R6 RJ09 Odometer
Thanks!
but why using the cable 47? Digiprog manual says cable 01

http://www.wobd2.com/upload/pro/original...able-1.jpg

its the little left one. I am about to disconnect the wires from the clip and solder the right numbers to the numbers from the pdf. right?

RE: Yamaha R6 RJ09 Odometer
Because ST47 is for solder points instead of the clip so you don't have to butcher ST01.

Helped you all I can, you have some searching and reading to do.

Good luck
