Hello everyone!

Recently I´ve been trying to get my e39 running again after my DME went bad. I bought a used EMU and flashed it with a virginized file. Since then I`ve been trying to get the ews to sync with the dme with INPA, but I only get ERROR 19 No response from control unit, and fault code 209 manipulation protection EWS. Later I´ve been reading that INPA cant do the sync and you are supposed to use DIS or ISTA, is that true or can the virginized file be corrupt in some way? Is it possible to remove the EWS function? I am lost for ideas
(It was not possible to retrieve the file from the old DME, due to burnt voltage regulator)

Send me the file you are trying and your VIN (PM or something) and I can see if I can put together a file for you.

INPA can definitely do ews sync, and ISTA is soooo much easier to set up than crappy DIS.

But to get you on the road, lets see what can be done.
