could be smile

Check the installation point of the oxygen sensors (picture post 17, I mean EBO in German) If I check it here in ISTA I will find two sensors before and two sensors behind the catalytic converter. Always two for both cylinders. In ETK I cant find it, this has to be clarified. You should see it if you take a look at the exhaust side.

Anyway I would first recommend to replace the oxgen sensors.
The lifetime is the problem, there are chemical processes inside, if the sensor is much more older it will fail in the way that the measuring cycle will be slower and sower every time. The second thing if you take a look at he fault sheet you will always see that the speed if the error occurs is very low. Normally at lower speed the heater of the oxygen sensors will be pulsed with voltage to rise the internal temperature of the sensor to the typically operation temp.

Try to understand...
With less engine power the exhaust temp will lower too, so the typical operation temp. point will be to low for the oxygen sensor. In this way the ECU will start to pulse the heating in a way that the temp. is rising again.

Second what I found in the error sheet is the very high exhaust temp about 1220°C, this is more than to much. I would say this is the next indication for a faulty loop. The very high exhaust temp could be happen because the sensor is telling the ECU wrong values. In some cases it could be a leak too, but 1220°C is a killer.

Now if the sensors are old read this explanation:
Normally, the lifetime of an unheated sensor is about 30,000 to 50,000 miles (50,000 to 80,000 km). Heated sensor lifetime is typically 100,000 miles (160,000 km). Failure of an unheated sensor is usually caused by the buildup of soot on the ceramic element, which lengthens its response time and may cause total loss of ability to sense oxygen. For heated sensors, normal deposits are burned off during operation and failure occurs due to catalyst depletion. The probe then tends to report lean mixture, the ECU enriches the mixture, the exhaust gets rich with carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons, and the fuel economy worsens.

So first I would change the sensors, than start DIS and go to measurement plan engine and find the oxygen plans. It will lead you though the complete process. After the sensors are replaced the heating error shoud go away.

In DIS the explanations are much more less than in ISTA now, but it should work. I think you are working with a VMWare DIS and a DCAN head.

Oh, you never told that you have LPG before. I had many troubles with leaking LPG injector valves and all kinds of lambda errors. If you car works good on petrol, but errors show up on LPG, 99% its leaking LPG injector valves. They must be replaced (at least I found no other way to fix problems). 1% is bad tuning of LPG computer.
The exact problem with the valves is not clear. Judging by the totaly different sound between new and old valves I would guess either springs in them get deformed or something else wears out. LPG garage who installed those will never acknowledge the problem (at least here) unless you press them really hard and ask to lower the gas amount injected. Then they will try and fail to do that with their equipment smile Then will offer seriously overpriced replacement valves. I usually find them twice cheaper on ebay. Do you know what is the manufacturer of your LPG system and valves?

Hello all,
I solved my problem (I think because there are no errors). I bought second new lambda probe and changing it in the car. After replacing the driver does not report any alarms. According to ISTA resistance value between the pin 3 and 4 is expected to be 3,2 Ohm +/- 1 Ohm. My first purchased a probe in the BMW has a value of 5,7 Ohm (is damaged despite the fact that it is new). The second has purchased a 3.4 Ohm and is ok. The first gave to the site by advertising it. I would like to thank everyone for their help in my problem.
My advice to all despite the fact that the product is 100% new we have no guarantee that it is okay.

I thanks the participants of this subject for their valuable advice.

Hello. I have the same codes with explanation:
2ca2: oxygen sensor heating before catalytic converter
2ca3 oxygen sensor heating 2 before catalytic converter

What do I have to change, can you give me part number please?
Engine 318i, n46b20 129hp. e90, 2006.
