Connection with icom does not work when i plug the cable directly in the laptop, it does work via a router..

Am I the only one who gets the message about .Net Framework 2.0 not was found, when running the Loader?

I could only install the included .Net Framework 4.6.1, since I got the message that the same or a newer version already were installed when I tried to install 4.5.2.
(Running Windows 10 Pro x64)


ISTAGUI.exe seems to run as it should, beside the "DSS #00046632EN" error.
And at the first run where it got asked for license-key, i got an error that I of course don't remember now.

Are they not also meant to be connected to a switch (the network) and not directly to the PC?

Don't own one by myself, but a the BMW workshop where I work, they are just connected to the RJ45 plug in the wall or over WiFi.

When I first open ISTA-D, I receive the error "The connection to one of the required databases could not be established. Please check DSS #00046632EN for further trouble shooting"

I checked the database files (used the ENGB) and neither are read-only and neither show blocked when I look at properties.

After connecting, I go to vehicle management > service function but everything is completely blank.
Example:
Could someone guide me on how to fix. Thanks so much!

You need to also use the "Other" DB files and make sure you are using the correct Regfix for the versions of ISTA and the SQLdbs. Also make sure to unblock before unzipping any of the files.

Also the screenshot looks like you may have the wrong brand version selected in the settings tab (wrench icon on top).
make sure you have BMW/MINI selected in the brand section of the client settings tab. Colors on the screen should be like a teal color.
