How to determinine if module is bad
Hey guys
my friend recently had problems with his E65 , after some time it was blinking all lamps on insrument cluster like cristhmass tree.. After long tryies to fix on our own we dropped car to local bmw service , they determinedthat was bad active steering module , just removed it from VO recoded and now no more problems, i just wana know how to find out this method? thanks for your share etc. while we tryed to fix there was no any faults |

Can you still read the module if it is decoded from VO?

No you cant , we had no problems with reading modules , is the reason im asking if there is any method

Were there any faults stored? Are you sure you could successfully communicate with active steering module?

We had no problems with comunicating , only one eror persisted self transmision error

E65 model never was produced with active steering.
There is problem in other things. Investigate situation. |

We found problem , it was dynamic drive module coded out and errors was dissaperead seems that module got water because sunroof was leaking..
