Mini R56, ASC Coding Problem, Pls Help!
I tried everything to make it work, last one was replacing the DSC unit. I've got same result,
Shortly facts: 1) I can flash DSC module with WinKFP 2) I can get in module with INPA, read errors (see pic) 3) It has error "Coding missing" 4) When i try to code with NCSExpert, i got error "ecu not responding" (see pic) 5) when I try to change date of prod in NCSExpert i get error (see pic) any input will be very much appreciated! I've checked VO to the options list by VIN code, everything is correct. this Unit is ASC unit, so it has option 214 (should be like this by VIN as well) INPA Error in DSC module Some statuses of DSC in Inpa: Error when trying to code with NCSexpert: Error in NCSExpert when trying to change production date: |

Did you update your daten files for R56 in NCS?
is it a "used" or a"new" module? is the right VIN in the control unit? fastest way is to use the "coding Tool" |

ISTA/P is not good for coding used modules.
as asked before, did you update your Daten files in NCS?? write correct vin to unit with WINKFP or Tool 32 and then code it with the right profile with NCS |

Do you have FSW/PSW manipulation disabled or enabled?
did you make sure your .man file is empty? can you recode a different module on this car with ncs? is it the right module for this car?? |

Same problem :/
Firstly, sorry for my english, as i'm French. I've some problems to read the DSC ecu with NCS expert. I think, that's because i've a 11/2012 r56 and it's ASC and not DSC. I tried, with no results : 1 - an other k+dcan cable. 2 - an other NCS installation with v54 daten. 3 - Copy E60bmw ACSM datens files to my R56 datens folder. 4 - select E60 and some others series when nos asks for the vehicle model. Useful indications : -> INPA reads the DSC module and i can access to the steering angle and all the others functions. -> Rheingold also read the DSC module and can write, as I can reset the defaults memory. -> All others modules are ok, can read & code. Only this one doesn't work. -> It's the original DSC/ASC module, never replaced. So vin match is ok. I would code in this module to activate the GP MODE on a JCW. I managed to activate the display in the Kombi, now i need to activate the function in the DSC. |
