RE: NBT Evo ID6 Downgrade - Almost success
Good news I think. I downgraded to v2 (ID5) from v3 with psdzdata 56.5 and was able to use tool32 job to delete FSC. Now checking FSC status shows no FSCs loaded or accepted. Next, I'll update to latest, 59.3, and load new G11 FSC set.

Congrats!
You just changed BL to v2, but have you also tried going back to v1 and making it ID4 again?
While you're at it, try a complete rollback to factory's state.

RE: NBT Evo ID6 Downgrade - Almost success
I did not try going back to ID4 as my goal was to delete old FSC set, which worked with v2. I'm now updating to ID5/6 again to see if I can load new FSCs. But if I get time this week, I'll try rolling back to v2 again and then to v1.

What procedure did you use to downgrade the boot loader?

RE: NBT Evo ID6 Downgrade - Almost success
Nice process. I flashed my unit yesterday to bootloader v3, psdzdata v59.3. I can confirm that both ID5 and ID6 now use exactly the same software, interface is changed by coding HMI_ID_VERSION to either ID5_plus_plus or ID6_light. I have heard that this ID6 version mights still be a buggy beta version but I did not notice anything special yesterday while shortly trying the unit. Now I need to do this downgrade so that I can install an older, different FSC set.

The procedure is pretty straightforward:

Create a G11 FA with production date of 11/15.
Point E-Sys @ v3.56.5 pdszdata (others may work but this specific version worked for me).
Start E-Sys and connect as G11 series vehicle.
In TAL Calculating, load FA, read ECU and use usual procedure to calculate SVT and TAL. This should indicate that the HU will be flashed with v2 bootloader.
Save files and disconnect.
Re-connect to vehicle using appropriate vehicle model.
Load saved files and flash HU in normal manner.

Now HU should be back to V2 and you can use tool32 to clear SWT.

RE: NBT Evo ID6 Downgrade - Almost success
I've had a few requests to upload pdszdata 3.56.5 - will upload it tonight and post the link. It will only be available for a week.

I tried the ID6 light UX this morning and didn't much care for it - maybe I'll get used to it. I see ID6 full is an option too, I'll try coding that and see if there is any significant difference.

ID6 full is for G-series.

Ok, I bicked the unit when trying to downgrade to v56.0. Recovered it and now i will try with 56.2. I have all kind of different versions but from v56, v56.2 is the latest.

Edit. I will actually try with v57 as this unit is hw 2.3 and has factory istep from v57.

edit2. Was the trusted VIN introduced in psdzdata v57?
