XZBMW  ISTA/P 57.4 VO Input
Hi, while programming my MINI I had a failure and the car is not responding.
The only thing I can try is to input the car's Vehicle Order (VO) and try to program it again. I have my car's VO .xml but I cannot input it in ISTA/P.
I tried it in a usb but ISTA/P does not recognize the USB, so I was wondering if anyone knows if I can manually put the .xml file in the appropriate folder but where should I put it?

RE: ISTA/P 57.4 VO Input
Copy the XML onto a USB stick, make it the only file.
Use ISTA/P to import the VO.

Name the file - VIN.xml
or
Name it - xmldb.xml

Did you try removing the battery from the car for a few hours before trying a new programming?
Sometimes works and you don't need the VO.

RE: ISTA/P 57.4 VO Input
Thanks, I have disconnected the battery for 2 hours but nothing.
I have already tried the usb with thexml in it but ista/p acts like no usb is connected. The pc reads the usb without problem. That is why I am trying to copy the vin.xml directly into the correct path.

If you have done it before maybe you can search where ista/p stored the vin.xml file

Just out of interest, I have found once Vehicle Orders have been downloaded by ISTA-P they are stored in the following location:

ProgramData\BMW\ISPI\logs\TRIC\ISTA-P\Hermes\Data

RE: ISTA/P 57.4 VO Input
Hello,
I have the same issue with a BMW 118i. I have the vehicle order string, but don't know how to make the xml file. Could you send me a vehicle order as an example, please?

Many thanks
