Hi and thanks for the software much appreciated. do you know how to flash VAS5054 in order to work with xentry?

Last Time i Flashed my Interface was when i Installed ODIS 2.7 ..... and to work with Xentry I DID NOT HAVE TO FLASH ANYTHING!!!!
To use Xentry with VAG-Interface you need SAEJ2534-1 For VAS 5054A software
that includes PassThru software
Read first post "3)Install PassThru Software and Drivers, Reboot, configure your PassThru make sure it's working and can be seen/tested and used in Windows "

According these pinouts pin8 is ignition at mercedes while at VW is some "CAN". Can this be true, what type of CAN uses pin 8. Strange. I will connect pin 8 with 1 and see will there be any difference.

UPDATE: Pins 1 and 8 does not have anything to do with voltage reading, there was no any difference i think it's a software problem because i could read live data from front SAM and it gave me correct voltage reading.

Could the file that i uploaded "Ignition" have an answer ?

I tested and if leave like this "[GLOBAL] IGNITION =OFF " then no connection at all. There is another settings in C:\program file\mercdes-benz\DAS\bin\cal.ini where you can enable or disable passthru device to read voltage. I set value from 1 to 0 and then DAS shows value from global.sim BATTERY_VOLTAGE = 12.5 and if it is value=1 then shows IGNITION_VOLTAGE = 12.0. This was tested on VAS5054 however x-horse MVCI "see" correct voltage but can't connect to all modules for example it coudn't read SAM in ML164 while VAS5054 reads all modules.

That is an idea of passthru, to be able program new modules and code new modules

Todaj tested with DPA5, works better than VAS5054, correct voltage reading and it's 20% faster

Same way as with VAS5054A first you install AVDI Software/drivers then passthru soft/drivers that are provided with AVDI and then Xentry!
If you still can not, then contact AVDI for help on installing passthru drivers/software
"FVDI" will not going to work, only "AVDI"
