No the empty is right. the first cylinder it is from gearbox.
The 1 and 3 have the problem. For test cut a small sheet metal and screw it between the end of tube and the inlet of injector 1 and 3. If you clog all the tubes, the pressure will increase over 1000 bar. |

If the car start then it is 100% this two injector the not starting reason. Should I check with diagnostic something until the pipes are clogged? Thanks. Right now I checked the rail pressure and I have a reading under 160 bar which is actually a not starting condition and the car wont start. RPM is much over 250rpm. But I have also no dtc set in the ECU. Any advice how to check more accurate the fuel pressure regulator? I will later check the electricity around the regulator, but how can I know is there enough fuel delivery from the low pressure pump to the high pressure pump? Actually, this type of Clio don't have an electric fuel pump in the tank. I can remember when I had a false reading on the real pressure and the car wont start on a Peugeot. At that car the electric pump failed and waste the fuel pressure which was actually directly resulted in a failure on the high pressure sensor, but the sensor was ok. But! how could I measure the low pressure side on this type of car with no low pressure fuel pump? |

Not need to measure the low pressure. You only have to do, is to bleed and see that it has no bubbles. The low pressure is due to the leakage of the injector.

Ok.
Tomorow I will clog the two bad injectors and watch if the rail pressure will rise to a starting condition. |

You now, I'm not an injector specialist and I will just help the customer because he was in a regular Bosch service for injectors and they told him does all the injectors are ok, but look at the picture from my first post. So, I'm a bit afraid to say to the customer he should buy two new injectors, to expensive without to be sure would that fix the problem. I got suggestions here from you guys about that two injectors, they are bad but I wish to got close as I can before make a big mistake with a big bill for the two injectors. I think, a clog test would not harm. Thanks for the suggestion. Here is a question more: I have a good injector sitting in my garage but the labeling for the code is on one place a bit scrapped and I can't read out one character of the code. Is there any possibility to got somehow that character or figuring out what was the code for that injector? |

RE: Clio II 1.5Dci injector test, need suggestion about the result
Hi!
I done the testing today. Clogged the faulty injectors and started the car. The engine started well. Until I checked the fuel pressure with my diag device I was completely surprised, the pressure raised over 250 bar, which give me the info does the high pressure pump and high pressure regulator are in fine condition. I checked several time and all the time everything was as you guys expected. Conclusion, like you say, the two injector's made the problem. Thank you so much for advice and for the help. You are great peoples. Thank you. |
