IFH-0009 only on Comfort Access Cars
Hi Everyone

Facing very interesting situation. I have 3 BMWs, 2 has comfort access (325i, 2009 and 525i 2007) and another has just a normal old type key (525i 2005, e60).
Trying to connect with NCS Expert, those two with comfort access BMWs giving me IFH-0009 no response from control unit. But the one with normal key connects just fine.
Anyone had similar issue or know how to solve it?

You need a K+DCAN cable, typically Pin 7 and 8 are bridged together. Check that please and report back.

Forgot to mention, I am using ICOM A2. Would bridging 7 & 8 also work?

no, it's an ICOM not a USB device. Is it a clone? have you ever updated the firmware?

no, it's an ICOM not a USB device. Is it a clone? have you ever updated the firmware?

How do I tell if it is a clone? Bought from China. Firmware probably latest, someone has updated it for me recently.

Probably dcan is not working on that clone

try with usb k+dcan (good one)
