Yes with Walnut Blast, but I first would fix this injector problem you have. (You never told us how the sparks are looking) One of my friends is working as a customer service master at a BMW branch. He told me he found out better to use the chemical way, the Walnut Blast has very small particle and therfore he had after a clean-up problems with compression on some N63 engines with Valvetronic. Valvetronic is working with a very small valve hub and very delicate in the working process. I am not in the decision and BMW prefers the way of Walnut blast. I think I first would try to test the chemical way, because if something goes wrong you can remove the cylinder heads. The exhaust valves on the N63 are not a F1 marvel. You can check the combustion chamber with a endoscope for the first time, always a good way to sort things out. For the daily way use the better fuel and change the oil not every 30000km. I change my oil every 8000km with filter, never had any problems. I know this is very less, but this guideline told me another friend who worked on important BMW engine projects also testbench for more than four decades. And of course I wont damage an engine who costs more than 25000 Euros, so oil, sparks and filter should never be a problem. Now with the last N63TU3 a lot of problems were fixed and I think it is working better with less problems. If I take a look at the latest engines and the technical way we go, I must say better leasing the car and after three years give it back. No strange problems with modules and other stuff. |
