Uninstall the unit with Passthuu driverima- 2-install honda passthu reprogramin- 3-installed honda GNA American -4- choose to install Honda .GNA-600, 5-bath finished installing run honda hds and button box F12 down at the end of the unit you have a choice of all available the unit to your PC laptop

The last working version of Honda Passthru app with X-horse mvci is 4.9 (April 2016). The latest Honda Passthru J2534 app does not work with X-horse driver (crushes/instability). However you can extract/replace the mdb and .rwd files from the latest to the 4.9 app folder and still have all the latest firmware updates.

X-horse 3 in 1 users you need Honda Passthru app 4.9, last working version. App subsequent versions changed name to J2534 Rewrite.

The scope of this app as mentioned in many threats, is to check if you your Honda Car - Engine Control Modules (ECM/PCM,TCM, MCM) need any firmware update, and if comfortable with updating, to carry out a firmware update if one exists. You might need calibration after the firmware update so be careful not to start updating software/firmware if you are not sure about it. (thus you need HDS installed for calibration purposes and to be familiar with using HDS too)

Still this version does not work (September 2016) with the x-horse 3in1 honda modified driver.

I have not tested it in the 32 bit Windows. I have just tested it with Windows 64 bit, but I think it should apply to 32 bit windows too. HDS works fine with my X-horse 1.4.8 driver modified by registry to work in windows x64 environment.

easy to fix by edit the DS253432-04.dll

Working CM Update in HDS 3.101.019 , EcuRewrite 6.27 - J2534_dist and J2534 USA Version

Hello,
What exactly should I edit in DS253432-04.dll and how??? hex edit does not give me options to edit. should I replace 1.0.0.1 to 1.0.1.15 and 0x4cbe5dc1 to 0x57994e47???
This was not a problem with previous J2534 passthru app. J2534 rewrite app is causing problems.

I never managed to make CM update work with the downloaded version I had. I even followed some of the recommendations here (was it from you??) never worked.

Modified so far version number (file version product version) using resource tuner app. Modify the time stamp. Changed timestamp using bulk file changer.

Doesnt work still the same error.
