Hi greeting to all Members
I have recently installed Xentry (XDOS) 09.2016 based on WIN 7 (64). Black list file applied, Licence applied. Addons applied. It connects to the mux OK, Xentry starts OK, Xentry simulation works OK, but when connected to a car all I got is common error message : Fault (1.2)- 2.503.13011 “Initialization of diagnosis multiplexer failed…. “
This is very strange , because the mux stays connected all the time. It happens with LAN green cable and wireless WiFi connection. The mux (cloned C4) is functioning OK, becuse it is working OK with previous installation 05.2016.
Anyone has any idea where to look …. ? Cheers

You have used a image ?? or fresh xdos install?

As you see all which use this "image" free not works.. so if you really want a good system, format HDD.. new windows and install all from zero, you can see the difference!!!

Hi, I grubbed HDD image of Xentry XDOS 9.2016 from this Forum hoping that it will work. But, mr. cucuro is absolutely right . These images in most cases are … . Obviously, fresh installation from scratch is the proper way. I will try to make a fresh installation, but I know there will be many challenges ahead, and a lot of , , , . Reading the Forum posts I can see a lot people are struggling even they are more knowledgeable then I.

copy the folders gdf in Mercedes-benz/das/bin, rename the original gdf on gdf-ori

Hi , thanks I know this solution. But it does not answer the question why new files from 09.2019 need to be replaced with older version ????
