Z4 23i N52 after replacing dme on brand new from bmw dealer programming ista p with success,gets error on dme 2F49 ews manipulation.I can not remove this error,cas-->dme sync not going to do.It is the only one error in the whole car.
The engine is not start.
Does anyone have any idea?

I think you need to sync the ISN from the DME to EWS. Haven't done it myself but there should be a service function in ISTA/D.

[Edit: Sorry, apparently you tried that. Try 'Start value matching (reset)' from the ABL DME/EWS interaface function or, failing that, from what I can see, try disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes]

Did you have proper voltage supply when programming? No post programming errors? What version of ISTA/P are you using? Can you post the final report?

If you haven't already, try syncing the rolling code between EWS and DME:

You cannot do DME matching through dealer tools on MSV80. That ecu comes preprogrammed from BMW with the correct ISN already loaded. You sure the issue isn't in the EWS? What was the reason the ecu was replaced?

No errors in programming raport(only one 2F49)ista p,vresion 3.59.0 from hier.Programmed icom with power supply.Old ecu has internal error and sometimes engine will not start.

Internal errors get one also so away.
And then the engine lamp again lights up and the engine control unit can be coded again.

There are two service functions when resetting the ISN in ISTA. one with new dme, and one with just reset to 0.

tried the one with new dme?
