my diagbox vci has stopped working and reading threads on this site it needs to be reflashed how can I do this and what software do I use

Did you ever sort your problem out as I have just got lexia 3 and diagbox with the interface and I have loaded it up and it can find my vin number but it can't get a reply from my ecu and when I try pp2000 I get a wincad error and stops . I am thinking I have just wasted £50 on the interface and £70 on the xp laptop . I could do with this working as the garages around here can't read my Peugeot 307 2.0 hdi and the main dealers want a lot every time a fault comes up . oh my car is on a 52 plate

What you need to do is search forum for either lexia3 or diagbox
and read through the threads
there is the flash file on the forum for using with a programmer and also there is the easier way by running a file though psachecker (if i remember the name right)
but all the info is here
also open the case and check it has all parts needed ie full set of chips etc

There are a number of issues that can cause bad/miss communication:

Wrong RPO: (Wrong manufacturing date code is entered)
Bad connection: (Ensure all you cables are connected properly)
Wrong firmware: (Use PSA Interface Checker to see which Firmware (4.xx) version do you have and which Revision (B or C))
Device incompatibility, do you have a Full Chip device: (Some devices do NOT work on Peugeot 207 or Citroen C5. Try connecting to other Citroen or Peugeot models and see if it works)

Did you try DiagBox v7.62?
