Chassis number change in dash head

ZVW  Chassis number change in dash head
Hi everyone

i am looking at changing the chassis number in a vw crafter dash head.

it has had a 2nd hand replacement dash head.

i have had the miles done so its the same as ezs unit and the tachograph.

the chassis number is stilll wrong any body know how to change it

Dont think chassis change is enough if it is like mercedes it will be ssid from ezs that is different probably better setting dash to zero then programming cluster with star or maybe dp3 i know dp3 can do it on sprinter

its not the mileage thats the problem i can do that

its the chassis number or eq info coz the dash isn't paired shall we say it just comes up with lines where the milages should be.

i can do mercs no probs its crafters i struggle with as i don't have the pin to change anything with odis

is there anyone who can extract a pin from ecu/ezs or have software for doing it

I used the instructions on this link to change the win in the steering wheel module used on audi a4, try this if you want to instrument panel or search the site if there is something, try also with the word swapping which I think is worthwhile
