RE: Diagbox V7.83 error
This issue is not related to 7.83 update, it is a language issue that may be caused by a skipped process during the updates.. This was solved by reinstalling VC++ 2008 sometime back, if not, you may have to reinstall.

DiagBox has changed the language locales from 2 characters to 5, such as English = EN to en_GB. This has been since release 7.74.

Check the language line "Current=" in the file "C:\AWRoot\dtrd\trans\Language.ini". DiagBox upto version 7.72 should read "Current=EN" but from 7.74 it should read "Current=en_GB".

Start DiagBox and before clicking on the brand (Citroen or Peugeot), change the line Current= to the other setting (EN or en_GB) and save it, then click on the brand and see the effect.

p.s. Ensure you have saved a copy of the file APPDIAG.SYS in the folder "C:\AWRoot\bin\fi\" in case you need it.

RE: Diagbox V7.83 error
There is no information on you platform in your initial post, Which windows? are you installing on Real Computer, or Virtual Machine like VirtualBox or Workstation?

You have not said if you have installed VC++ 2008 or not (you will find a copy in "C:\teleassistance\visualC\"), neither have you said if you tried changing the locale code to see if it is related.

However, check in the task manager if the Appachi process (httpd_ddc.exe) is started. If not, navigate to: "C:\APP\ddc\opt\apache\bin\" and start httpd_ddc.exe manually, then check if the tabs are working.

If it works and you don't want to bother yourself to investigate why this happens in your case, create a Batch file "DiagBox.bat" on the desktop and write the text between the dotted lines inside it..
............
cd "C:\APP\ddc\opt\apache\bin\"
start httpd_ddc.exe

Cd "C:\AWRoot\bin\launcher\"
start LctPOLUX.exe
.............
Double clicking on "DiagBox.bat" should start Appachi then DiagBox.
