Hello,
i tried the updates "8.17->8.37" and "8.35->8.38" on 7.82 (8.18)

Updates pass and Diagbox started, but the Version number still show 7.82

How can i proof if the updates succeeded ??

The updates are for Lexia and PP2000 into Diagbox system
Not for Diagbox
If you understand what I mean.
So it will still show you 7.82

You can check the version on Lexia or PP2000 to see if an upgrade has taken place..

Hi,

How can I copy my VMWARE of diagbox to another laptop without losing the license, please?

I copied it to a laptop but the activation has been lost, the VM was offline so not sure how the activation was lost?

Any ideas, please. Can i activate it again or is there another way to copy the VM?

I wanted to investigate this possibility as it frees us from the license issue, but I did not have the time to test the various possibilities.

However, I think Lexia and PP2000 are now built to communicate through DiagBox and since we found a way around the restrictions. I don't think it is worth the trouble. Just use it the way it is..

I am running DiagBox 8.42 on Windows 7. After 2017-05-23 Automatic detection of the vehicle has stopped working. I have figured out that the certificate has expired. The Certificate is stored in C:\APP\ddc\config\BRR\.

Certificate:
certificatC2_Programs_Partner_Datapower_BRR.pem

Private Key:
certificatC2_Programs_Partner_Datapower_BRR_K.pem

Both:
certificatC2_Programs_Partner_Datapower_BRR_ALL.pem

The validity can be checked by pasting the content of certificatC2_Programs_Partner_Datapower_BRR.pem to https://www.sslshopper.com/certificate-decoder.html

Fortunately there is a new Certificate and Private Key in the APP_Update_838-842.exe update you provided but is has apparently not been applied during the upgrade process. The updated certificate and Private Key is stored in [APP_Update_838-842.exe]\MAJDIST\APP\DDC\MAJ\[deltaDDC-5.10.00.zip]\DDC\config\BRR\. When extracted and installed manually to C:\APP\ddc\config\BRR\ Automatic detection of the vehicle works again. The updated Certificate will expire 2017-12-05.
