EDC17CP02 File Size
Hi,
I read out my Car by OBD (BMW 123d '08 EDC17CP02) the File size is 2MB. I send the file to Ross, he was so good to remap it for me, thanks!!! As i often read do EDC17 only in Bootmode, so i went to my car and took the ECU on my Table, again i read out ECU but this time in Bootmode, now the File has a Filesize about 1,5MB... Now iam confused why is the OBD Read File bigger than the Bootmode File, and can use the 2MB file, and write it over bootmode to ecu, or will this damage something? Tool is a reworked FGTech Galletto4 Hope u can understand me  i know my english isnt well ^^ BR |

I want to use the 2mb file, but can I use it in bootmode without risk or only by obd. I think I cannot move the changes from file to file

If you havent started the engine then write by OBD? you have full backup now so is safe?
